Job Description 

Are you a precise, driven grain grader with a passion for quality and precision? The VKB Group is looking for someone like you!

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Grain Grader to join our team at the silo in Reitz. In this role, you will oversee the sample-taking process and ensure grain grading complies with statutory standards, contributing to the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Grade grain (corn, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, soybeans) accurately and in line with statutory standards
  
• Oversee and optimize grain sampling and processing procedures
• Ensuring excellent client service and maintaining strong trade relationships
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and adding value to existing operations

Requirements

• Successful completion of Grade 12 / NQF4
• Valid grain grading certificates for corn, wheat, sunflower, grain sorghum, and soybeans
• Completion of silo operation and sampler courses
• 1–3 years’ experience in grain grading
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Demonstrated ability to add value and enhance current role functions
