Job Description

Introduction to the VKB Group

The VKB Group is an agricultural company, providing support to farmers and producing straight-from-the farm-foods for consumers. Apart from the various consumer brands, the VKB Group is also represented by its regional brands: VKB, GWK and NTK. Our roots are firmly planted in agriculture with farming at our core, continuously growing and evolving throughout the years.

Starting with providing everything needed on the farm to produce food, we now also operate in all areas of the food supply chain: processing, logistics, and national and global market channels.

This “house of brands” we’ve established with the support of our farmer shareholders is the foundation for building the agribusiness of the future.

Goal

Serve VKB Group as the primary link between Fund members and service providers, ensuring efficient claim processing, prompt query resolution, and exceptional member support that builds trust and promotes the Fund’s value.

“Serve the internal customer professional and efficient”

Your role

As our Client Liaison Officer (CLO), you’ll be the vital link between our Fund members and a network of trusted service providers — from funeral benefit administrators to Section 37C investigators, Trust Fund administrators, and tracers.

Your role is all about making a real difference: ensuring claims are processed efficiently, questions are answered promptly, and every interaction builds confidence in our Fund.

With your proactive communication and problem-solving skills, you’ll help members navigate their benefits with ease, promote the Fund’s value, and ensure every member feels supported and valued.

  • Hungry:  Passionate about providing excellent service and going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Smart: You read people well, ask the right questions, and build trust fast.
  • Bold: Being bold as a value in serving clients involves a confident, proactive approach that prioritizes the client's needs and well-being.
  • Team Player: You are the vital link between members and service providers

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Educate members on benefits, documentation, and prevent claim delays
  • Act as the central service contact for members and employers
  • Ensure all claims meet required documentation and are processed within SLA
  • Monitor quality and timelines of service delivery
  • Escalate unresolved issues or claims outside SLA
  • Act as a bridge between clients, internal departments, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate meetings and update stakeholders on claim or service status
  • Facilitate employer visits and ensure follow-ups
  • Submit daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports
  • Upload, index, and maintain accurate records in systems
  • Report on client satisfaction and challenges post site-visits
  • Address walk-in and telephonic client queries
  • Resolve complaints or delays with a client-centric approach
  • Plan monthly visits and employer engagements
  • Coordinate logistics and information requirements ahead of trips
  • Provide feedback and escalate unresolved employer concerns
  • Liaise with internal CLOs, and relevant departments
  • Share insights and assist teams in aligning service to member expectations
