Introduction to the VKB Group
The VKB Group is an agricultural company, providing support to farmers and producing straight-from-the farm-foods for consumers. Apart from the various consumer brands, the VKB Group is also represented by its regional brands: VKB, GWK and NTK. Job Description

Support the effective administration, organisation, and growth of the business unit to contribute towards achieving the strategic goals of the VKB Group.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or NQF4
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will serve as recommendation
  • 3 years’ previous experience in the agricultural retail industry
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office; experience with business/ERP systems will serve as recommendation)
  • Willing to work afterhours when required
  • Willing to undergo continuous training

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform strong administrative functions, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance with internal systems.
  • Capture, maintain, and reconcile data on business systems to support operations.
  • Handle stock administration, including merchandising, stock levels, ordering, claims, and stock-taking processes.
  • Support personnel administration, including staff scheduling, leave management, and onboarding documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by managing queries and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure all VKB policies and procedures are implemented correctly.
  • Assist with compliance to relevant legislation and internal controls.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve systems and workflows.
  • Support the business unit’s growth by aligning with strategic and operational goals.
