QPro Feeds is a dynamic Animal Feed Manufacturing business with a facility in both Bethlehem and Vrede. We are responsible for producing animal feed to in-house clients as well as external clients in the monogastric and ruminant fields.

Job Description
The ideal team player will be responsible for the Coordination duties related to the vehicle weighing process for raw material, final product and other weighing related duties for any other vehicle entering and exiting the facility in compliance with all statutory regulations, requirements and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification (completed)
• Preferably 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Previous working experience in Feed Mill would be an advantage.
• Computer Literate – NAV and Kairos advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify load particulars vs Purchase orders on the system.
• Weigh vehicles on system before entering the site
• Confirm approval of Lab results prior to releasing vehicle to enter.
• Weigh full load and capture information on the computer system.
• Verify load mass vs delivery note mass indicated.
• Obtain all applicable documentation from driver delivering the load.
• Report any discrepancies /issues /problems to management.
• Obtain approval form management before releasing any vehicle to move which are without the weight approved limits.
• Confirm bulk load all latches are properly sealed, and all compartments or doors are properly closed.
• Obtain all applicable documentation (Delivery note/ Invoice) from driver for the load.
• Completing of daily control sheets, registers and reports as applicable for the job function.
• Process and update all relevant data / paperwork / records on computer systems in an accurate and punctual manner.
• Print all applicable documentation as per load requirement.
• Forward all applicable documentation to all relevant teams.

• Must be willing to work shifts (including night shift)
• Excellent administrative skills
• Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Communication skills and good people relations in the workplace 
• Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required.
