Job Describtion
Assist the internal sales team by providing excellent service to the consumers, customers, marketing team and Grain Field Chickens' operational divisions at all times, while actively contributing to sales performance through phone-based selling, customer engagement, and promotional campaigns.
Job Requirements
• Grade12/ NQF4.
• At least 3 year's internal sales experience.
• Relevant sales and/ or marketing qualification or equivalent demonstratable experience.
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of the full GFC product-range.
• Proficient in using GFC sales software and Warehouse Management Systems essential.
• Computer literate in the MS Office package.
• Driver's Licence and own vehicle required.
• Position requires willingness to work overtime, incl. weekends where required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- The role is primarily office-based and phone-focused, involving outbound sales calls, cold calling, managing incoming enquiries, supporting external sales representatives, and assisting trade and walk-in customers.
- Monitoring of customer credit limits when generating sales
- Negotiating prices with customers up to the agreed
- Accurately do sales orders and ensure that invoicing is done correctly and send to customers.
- Generate purchase orders on transporters account for each sales order
- Generate transfer orders between the different locations DCE, Vector
- Daily booking of trucks, receive fleet numbers from transporters and communicate fleet numbers, sales orders and ETA’s to dispatch and clients
- Production planning and the monitoring of production on a daily basis to adjust and correct deviations from the plan to ensure that the customer get their order
- Managing stock expiration report to ensure that the oldest stock is given out first.
- Sending out pricelists and deal sheets to customers as
- Facilitate and coordinate the Human Resources function within the relevant department daily.
- Handling the customer care line, generate consumer or customer complaints and also investigate complaints.
- Ensure the generation of a credit note if credit needs to be passed after approval is received.
- Contacting customers if an order cannot be sent due to exceeding their credit limit.
- Phone customers daily or weekly are the need arise to get enough orders
- Follow up with customers if trucks are not off-
- Adhere to the Sales and Marketing department’s sales, marketing & pricing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable conditions of the Consumer Protection Act and uphold the ethical code of conduct of the relevant companies within Grain Field Chickens.
- To complete all compulsory training interventions allocated by direct manager successfully.
- To mentor all employees concerned and train them to establish and maintain standards, best practices and processes.
- Any other duties as may be required by management.
